PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT EVENTS, COMMUNITY BUILDING AND CONFERENCES

Edge provides opportunities for members to engage with our organization and with their peers in a manner that best aligns with their strategic objectives and priorities. EdgeEvents enables members to derive value from participation and continuous professional development in the form of networking and professional events, webinars, information sessions, and certification and training programs.

Through EdgeEvents, Edge hosts annual and seasonal conferences, forums and thematic events. Large-scale events include:

EdgeCon – Our Annual Conference takes place each January and seeks to advance member knowledge of digital transformation by providing access to enlightening speakers, track sessions, and panel discussions, and networking opportunities with peers and the vendor community.

Edge Member + Partner Appreciation Day – Held in October, this annual luncheon honors outstanding achievements and contributions from our member community, and offers Edge members a great opportunity to get to know the industry partners who support our consortium.

Professional Networks & Practice Groups – With the launch of the CxO Exchange, Women Leaders in Technology Network, and Tech User Groups in January 2019, Edge members will witness first-hand, the evolution of the former Communities of Practice, to interactive groups that reflect the rapidly changing needs of our membership base.

Additional Edge Events – Edge provides opportunities for members to engage with our organization and with their peers in a manner that best aligns with their strategic objectives and priorities. We host a variety of themed and focused workshops, seminars, and webinars throughout the year to provide consistent professional development and networking opportunities.

EdgeEvents Testimonials:

“Edge is really essential for us as well because they host important discussions and events—and they’re the organization that gets all of us—the public institutions, the private institutions, the two-year institutions and four-year institutions—in a room together to discuss issues that are relevant across the entire spectrum.”

Dr. Anthony J. Iacono
President, County College of Morris

“The conferences and activities Edge provides help us collaborate on matters of mutual interest and concern so we don’t end up reinventing the wheel. We get help and advice from others when we need it and we certainly provide help to others as we can provide.”

Neal Sturm
Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Farleigh Dickinson University
