SUMMARY:New Jersey Society for Information Management: Monthly Meeting
DESCRIPTION:On February 8\, 2018 come join us for an exciting meeting with the New Jersey Cybersecurity and Communications Integration Cell (NJCCIC). \nThe NJCCIC is the State’s one-stop shop for cybersecurity information sharing\, threat analysis and incident reporting. Located at the Office of Regional Operations Intelligence Center (ROIC). The NJCCIC brings together analysts and engineers to promote statewide awareness of local cyber threats and widespread adoption of cybersecurity best practices. The NJCCIC engages in close partnerships with federal homeland security and law enforcement authorities\, as well as sector-specific information sharing and analysis centers. \nDuring this presentation\, Director Michael T. Geraghty will be explaining to us how the NJCCIC operates in their three major areas of focus: Information Sharing\, Cyber Threat Analysis and Incident Reporting. We will learn more about how the NJCCIC works with private sector business and we can all benefit from their expertise and knowledge through membership in the NJCCIC (which is free!) Director Geraghty will talk about the staffing and expertise that they have on board as well as their plans for the future. It is certainly a presentation that you won’t want to miss!
